Discover Curling YYC began in 2021, and serves primarily the Calgary community. Our league is for new and novice curlers. It's not your typical curling league. For starters, each game begins with a 15 minute lesson. If you haven't already, why don't you make plans to come out and play with us? It's a great opportunity to meet new people in a fun game that is easy to learn, and it's a great introduction to some of the full time leagues that you could join next season.

Registration begins in September for the Fall session, and December for the Winter session. The Fall session takes place between October and December. The Winter session takes place between January and March. Games are at the North Hill Curling Club (1201 - 2 Street N.W.) on Sundays at 12:10 p.m.

Weekly league fee is $150. Bi-weekly league fee is $90.

Teams are formed the day of the game, so you don't need to already have an existing team to play. Every week, you'll get to play a different position and with different players.

Every player needs to RSVP prior to each game so organizers know how many players are coming.

This is intended to be a learning and educational experience. Wins and loses are not recorded.
